Highlights are one of the most versatile ways to create brighter, lighter and more dimensional hair.

At The London Hair Salon Bangkok, our colourists create personalised highlights for both blonde and brunette hair at our Silom and Thonglor salons.

Depending on your natural hair colour, previous colour, desired brightness and maintenance, we may recommend full-head highlights, half-head highlights, fine babylights, face-framing highlights or a combination of techniques.

We use Schwarzkopf Professional European hair colour products, with Olaplex available during our highlighting and lightening services to help protect and strengthen the hair.

What Is the Difference Between Highlights and Babylights?

Traditional highlights use sections of hair to create visible brightness and dimension throughout the colour. Depending on the placement and size of the sections, highlights can create anything from a natural result to a much brighter blonde.

Babylights are much finer, more delicate highlights. Very small sections are lightened to create a softer, more seamless blend.

Babylights are ideal for clients who want natural-looking blonde, very fine brightness towards the roots or a softer transition between their natural colour and previously lightened hair.

Both techniques can also be combined in the same appointment to create a more personalised result.
